The Deerfield II is a rendition of the original Deerfield plan and reflects the Blue Ridge Timber Frame show room located in Swannanoa, NC.
The outside deck with a beautiful hammer beam truss system symbolizes timber framing and it's masterful beauty. A cathedral ceiling'd great room is the "heart" of this design. Natural light spills into this area from the gable window above while the hammer beam truss systems lend character, reassuring strength and ambiance to the space.
Like the original Deerfield, the Deerfield II has a substantial first level master bedroom; while upstairs, a large loft creates a wonderful overlook and bonus living space.
Possibilities:
- If the site is sloped, significant square footage can be added by incorporating a walk out basement into the plan.
